Metro Mayhem is an idle game that combines battle elements, with train sim and real time strategy. 72 Hour Submission
My idea tries to tackle the midnight staircase by having the player decide the speed they wish to go around the course at, if they go slower the more likely they are to get scrap, however likewise enemies will have an opportunity to attack the player and deactivate the trains carts and more enemies will spawn.
Some things you should know:
Click on your carts to select them
All research costs are 10 (would like to add variance later)
All upgrade amounts are hidden from you, when you click the icon for the stat and you have 10 research the stat should go up.
Upgrading a rail does not cost anything but increases energy usage towards your energy cap.
If you go past your energy cap the latest turret that you built will deactivate and cease to function, likewise for dead units.

It was fun. I kinda reached immortality at some point and just kept going. Big space train.
Your always immortal, just when the train cars have no health they stop generating resources, the obvious thing I would want to do is incorporate better enemy scaling, for instance if you go slow the enemies will scale. Though I think I should probably scale them harder, how I am handling this is when a camp reaches capacity the enemies instead of spawning new ones gain stats. So if you go slow to grind resources it ends up ramping is what I found in testing.
